G90 and G60
Galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron to prevent rust. The letter "G" followed by a number (such as G60 or G90) indicates the thickness of the galvanized coating. G90 has a galvanized coating weight of 0.9 ounces per square foot.
