A1008 CS-Type B Cold Sheet, Carbon Steel
A1008 Specification Steel is a specification for carbon steel
cold rolled steel sheets.
A1008 CS Type B is a carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.02 to 0.15%.
It is a mild steel with a yield strength of 140~275 and has good processability and weldability.
CS Type B material is Commercial Steel, and there are three CS Types: A, B, and C.
In addition to CS Type, DS Type (drawing steel), DDS (deep drawing steel).
There is EDDS (extra deep drawing steel).
In addition to this, SS Type (structural steel), low alloy, high strength, low alloy with improved formability
The standard for high-strength steel is ASTM A1008, and the standard before revision is ASTM A366.
ASTM A1008 (formerly Specification A366) — Cold Rolled Steel
ASTM A1011 (formerly Specification A569) — Differentiated for Hot Rolled Steel
Cold rolled steel has a brighter, smoother surface than hot rolled steel.
Specific gravity is 7.87 g/cm3, and the hardness (reference value) of CS Type B is Rockwell B 70 max.
Elastic modulus 200 GPa, thermal expansion coefficient 12.4 Чm/m/℃, thermal conductivity 89 W/m℃ at 20℃,
Specific heat is a physical property at the level of 481 J/kg/℃.
※ Cold-reduced steel sheet (cold rolled steel sheet)
It is usually supplied in a skin-passed state, but depending on the buyer's request,
It is also supplied in an annealed state without a skin pass.
This products normally supplied skin passed but may be supplied annealed
last (ie. Without a skin pass), if specified by the purchaser on this order.
※ Carbon Steel (carbon steel)
Steel made by alloy iron and carbon of which carbon content
is generally within a range from 0.02% to 2%.
Further, a small amount of silicon, manganese, phosphorus,
sulfur, etc. are usually contained.
For convenience, carbon steel may be sometimes classified as
according to the carbon content or hardness (including strength).
Classification by carbon content: Low carbon steels,
medium carbon steels and high carbon steels.
Classification by hardness: Extra mild steel, mild steel and hard steel.
Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon with a carbon content usually in the range of 0.02 to about 2%.
It also usually contains small amounts of silicon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur.
For convenience, carbon steel is classified according to its carbon content or hardness (including strength).
Again categorized as follows:
When classified according to carbon content: low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel
Classification according to hardness: extremely mild steel, mild steel, light steel.
