Difficulties in hot-dip galvanizing scaffolding crossbars
When the crossbar is
hot-dip galvanized, the lock head at the lower end enters the zinc liquid first, and goes first and last in the zinc liquid, so the zinc immersion time is longer.
The lock on the top enters the zinc liquid last, and the lock in the zinc liquid is last in, first out. The zinc immersion time is shorter. Compared with the lock on the lower end, the heating time is shorter or not heated thoroughly.
First, the depth of the pot should be increased, and attention should be paid to the cleaning of the lock.
The lock head is made of ductile iron. Hot-dip galvanizing of ductile iron generally requires high-temperature hot-dip galvanizing above 520°C. In our production, it is usually within 450°C, so it is easy to miss the plating, which is the biggest difficulty.
