Electrical silicon steel smelting and pouring

Smelting key:
1) Complete carbon reduction (converter (fast decarbonization), electric furnace (carburization problem))
2) Completely remove P, S and gas inclusions (electric furnace has advantages, but high cost; converter has low N and H, high productivity and low cost)
3) Alloying of Si (converter weakness, combined refining)
4) Complete deoxidation (converter weakness, joint refining)
silicon steel
Typical process
Blast furnace hot metal + KR pre-desulfurization + double blowing converter + RH + continuous casting + hot charging and heating furnace + hot rolling + silicon steel sheet (high efficiency, high quality, low production cost, advanced production line)
Electrical silicon steel
Molten iron: t=1300℃ or above, [S]=0.03~0.06%, without slag.

Electrical silicon steel is classified according to rolling method; naming method; magnetic induction intensity, iron loss; texture, single and dual orientation directions; grain size; inclusion distribution, influence of morphological type on magnetism, "favorable inclusions"; Si grade and effect; the influence of C.

What is the difference between cold rolling and hot rolling?
Hot-rolled steel is rolled at high temperatures. Cold-rolled steel plates have better strength, while cold-rolled hot-rolled steel plates have better ductility. Generally, the thickness of cold rolling is relatively small, while the thickness of hot rolling can be larger. Cold plates are used for cold-formed spring sheets and other parts. The thickness is pretty standard. When not rusty, it looks a bit bright like stainless steel; the hot-rolled surface is rough.
