Transformation induced plasticity steel (transformation induced plasticity steel): Ultra-high-strength steel with increased plasticity caused by the gradual martensitic transformation process in the steel structure, referred to as TRIP steel. When the austenitic steel with this structure is used at room temperature, the austenite in the front of the crack will change to martensite due to the stress concentration at the front of the crack. Because the formation of martensite requires a lot of energy, it is difficult for crack propagation to occur, which will not only increase the strength of the steel (martensite strengthening) but also increase the fracture toughness KIC (consume the energy required for crack propagation). This steel is the ultra-high-strength tough steel with the best fracture toughness.

Cold-rolled steel is steel produced by cold rolling. Cold rolling is a steel plate obtained by further rolling the No. 1 steel plate to a target thickness at room temperature. Compared with hot-rolled steel sheets, cold-rolled steel sheets have more accurate thickness, smooth and beautiful surface, and also have various superior mechanical properties, especially in terms of processing performance. Because cold-rolled raw coils are relatively brittle and hard, they are not suitable for processing, so usually cold-rolled steel sheets are required to be annealed, pickled and surface-leveled before being delivered to customers. The maximum thickness of cold rolling is below 0.1--8.0MM.
