AZ50 vs AZ150 Galvalume Steel
The galvalume coating thickness is expressed by AZ+number. So AZ50 here means the aluminized zinc layer is 50 g per square meter (double sides); while AZ150 indicates the Al-Zn coating weight of 150 g/m2 double sides. The Al-Zn layer has a thickness of about 20 μm per side for AZ150. In comparison, the AZ150 will be more durable than AZ50. Also, it will be more expensive.
